Officers from the RCT were made aware of a theft of a GPS Dome from a tractor early this morning. A suspect vehicle was identified and we deployed to search for the vehicle in the West Dorset area. Eagle eyed officers spotted the vehicle and arrested a male on suspicion of theft

This morning Mike has joined Debbie the Dorset Police Crime Prevention and Design Advisor on a visit to a business centre. We have walked the the site with the centres manager. This afternoon the RCT will be at The Co-op Store in Alderholt between 3pm and 4pm. #RuralCrime

Multi Agency stop checks taking place today with Rural Crime Team, Road Policing Team, Dorset Council and The Environment agency, so far 11 stops checks since 9am, will let you know how we get on at the end of the day

Latest stop 3.5 tonne truck 68% overweight, reported for the offence and will be going to Magistrates Court. The vehicle is being prohibited and wont be going anywhere until it is underweight

Officers from the team have been investigating the theft of two Fiat Abarth's in the North Dorset area. A 30-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman from Wincanton – were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. A vehicle was also seized as part of the investigation.
