I posted a blog regarding the vulnerabilities in the runtime of programming languages, including the recent Rust's critical vulnerability.

Rust 1.77.1 has been released with a small fix for Windows targets that use MSVC. The automatic stripping of debug info that was introduced in 1.77.0 has been temporarily disabled for these platfoms to avoid an issue with backtraces.

In Rust 1.74, which be released on November 16th, the minimum version of Apple platforms that the Rust compiler supports will be increased.
