There are a few showers again possible this morning as a weakening complex drifts east. I still expect afternoon clearing and warming with a high in the upper 80s. A few more storm are possible later overnight too.

FIRST ALERT to another day similar to yesterday. Spotty showers are possible before 2pm followed by clearing and warming. Highs in the upper 80s will provide a similar feel. It will be muggy and breezy as well.

FIRST ALERT to a couple more spotty storms possible overnight. There is the potential for those to be a bit stronger with a little hail and wind potential. I'm not too worried about it but don't be surprised by some thunder.

FIRST ALERT to a spotty storm that is possible Friday evening. They'll likely wait until after 10pm for most of the area but could be a tad early for areas south of Omaha including Lincoln. I'd say there is a small chance of a storm during the 2nd half of that Friday night game.

FIRST ALERT to plenty of rain potential through the weekend. I think most of Saturday's rain likely stays near & south of I-80 and should be all day. Sunday is quickly becoming the day that has washout potential with a few rounds of rain & storms. 1-4" of rain possible by Mon AM.

Most of the day Friday should be warm and muggy with a high in the upper 80s. I'm watching what could be a few spotty storms popping up during the second half of the Friday night game in Lincoln. They should be sparse but they are possible.

Finally some signs we'll break this late summer warmth and humidity. Looks a lot more like fall next week with lower dew points and highs in the 70s. Lows in the 50s will feel better too.
