The Ministry of Health, through the HRH Secretariat | Rwanda, in collaboration with the University of Rwanda and other key stakeholders launch 13 new medical training programs including fellowships to sustain the quality of teaching of students both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This evening, First Lady Mrs Jeannette Kagame joined the launch of 13 new medical training programmes aimed at improving the quality and quantity of healthcare services. These programmes will be offered by Ministry of Health | Rwanda through its HRH Secretariat | Rwanda Secretariat and University of Rwanda.

The HRH Secretariat | Rwanda received, today, Pham Manh Hung, a Professor of Cardiology from Vietnam and signed an MoU with the Vietnam National Heart Institute (Bach Mai Hospital) on collaboration between #Rwanda and #Vietnam in terms of cardiology teaching.

Ministers Dr. Ngamije Daniel and Dr Tharcisse MPUNGA just launched, at Intare Arena, a 2-day health sector workshop that is reviewing a draft of the 2021 - 30 National Health Policy.

The World Endoscopy Organization recognized two international centers of training in endoscopy: King Faisal Hospital Rwanda and University Teaching Hospital of Kigali/CHUK. They will be training medical internists in order to provide adequate care in gastroenterology and hepatology across the region.

The Ministry of Health through the HRH Secretariat | Rwanda, met with the delegation from The University of Michigan Medical School to discuss about the areas of partnerships aimed at promoting academic and scientific research activities.
