It's been a costly morning for some drivers! We've handed out 7 tickets for speeding in a construction zone in just under 3 hours. One driver received a ticket for $253.00. Drivers, slow down, watch for flaggers, and obey the posted speed limit.

Saanich Police arrested Malcolm Davis who was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant in relation to a shooting incident in Hamilton Ontario. He was handed over to the Hamilton Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit for transport back to Ontario. Hamilton Police More Info:

We have already stopped 19 impaired drivers in September with 10 of those coming in the last two days. 1 impaired driver is too many, we currently sit at 483 for the year.
