SAFCSA London Branch is deeply saddened by the passing of Sunderland legend Charlie Hurley. As well as being the Greatest Centre Half the World has Ever Seen, Charlie served as Branch president, and our condolences go out to his family and friends at this sad time.

A comfortable 3-0 win over Murkit Road FC sees the Branch Football team make it 13 points from 5 games to start the new season. 🔴⚪️

The branch football team’s 13 game unbeaten run came to an end last night with a 2-0 reverse to Real Milbank. A great effort from everyone nonetheless, and we’ll look to bounce back next week. 🔴⚪️

Two bits of good news for the London branch last night. First of all our football team are top of the league for the first time since our revival, following a thumping 9-0 win!

And second, Sunderland u21s have reached the Premier League 2 final against Spurs after a thriller against Reading. A short trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be on the cards! Details tbc
