Years have passed since Mrs Suma lost her gallant soldier, Maj JS Pandian, #ShauryaChakra in 1996, leaving a void in her life. The pain persists but the memories never fade. Intriguing the visitors with her fortitude, the #VeerNari paid homage to her soldier at #AmarJawanJyoti.

#Onthisday CQMH Abdul Hamid, PVC, pulverised enemy’s three Patton tanks from jeep-mounted Recoilless Gun at #AsalUttar in #1965War but took a fatal shell while engaging the fourth. His legend continues to inspire the youth. We honour the #Bravest of the Brave with #Marigolds.

Honouring the enduring legacy of selfless service and steadfast dedication shown by #Indian Bravehearts in the line of duty, Lt Brig Marcelo Kanitz Damasceno, Cdr, Brazilian Air Force paid homage to them at #EternalFlame in #NationalWarMemorial.

Leading from the front and unmindful of being wounded, Lt Col AB Tarapore, PVC (P) with his men destroyed 60 enemy tanks in #1965War. #Onthisday the gallant officer died a hero’s death on the battlefield after his tank was hit by a shell. Heartfelt homage to the #legend.

No matter how strong a woman is, but a mother’s emotion for her son shall always remain fragile. With first glimpse of Sep Anchit Kumar’s name on the Honour Wall, Mrs Sunita could not hold her emotions. Immersed in nostalgia, the brave mother paid her homage at #AmarJawanJyoti.
