New shortlisting criteria for the AFP in London means that having a PhD now scores 0 but an MSc/BSc scores points. They argue that this is to acknowledge the the varying opportunities students have. PhDs are funded so surely requires less financial privilege than MSc/BSc.

I was asked by journal editor to review a paper. I recommended revise/resubmit and this was the editor's decision. I just received an email saying the article has now been accepted. But i was never sent any revisions to review. Is this a typical model for some journals?
