17 years ago I started as a mature student Mary Immaculate College (MIC). Not for one minute did I think that all these years later, I’d hold a PhD, be working in 3rd level & have appeared on a BBC documentary. It just goes to show! Good luck to all incoming 1st years, especially mature students.
