Can you bring 🇪🇺 claims against private individuals? Debates as to #horizontality have raged for decades & there’s no end in sight, so we’ve dedicated a whole 📖 to the issue. Meet Éliane Vogel-Polsky & Gabrielle Defrenne 👩‍✈‍, who took 🛫 sabena to court – and won!

The #CJEU has been central in shaping the 🇪🇺 legal order. Is it merely an umpire 🏟 – or has it become an emperor 👑? And what about the increasingly assertive role of national #supremecourts 🐾? Or is something different altogether going on… 😳 (h/t Duncan Robinson)
