We need a serious discussion on the inadequate hardware, installed on all #docklessbikes. The kickstands are not effective in windy conditions, resulting in bikes falling over and becoming a hazard. Westminster City Council needs to hold operators to account on the necessary upgrades.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"... Charles W. Eliot 😂 First #WestEndWard #ByElection session today in wet #Soho! Thx Cllr Alessandro Georgiou AM AM Conservatives on London Assembly for joining!
The unstoppable train has left the station and will deliver Timothy Barnes as the Conservatives Councillor the #westend so desperately needs #soho #Mayfair #Fitzrovia #Marylebone
Thank you to every single Metropolitan Police officer for their Notting Hill Carnival policing. Thank you too to the various partner organisations. I hope Sadiq Khan reflects on this appalling list of crimes.
Tokyo drift on the streets of London 🏁 As the disruptive and dangerous car meets continue to blight local residents - Westminster Police | Central West BCU's Safer Roads Team had its annual £25k budget cut. Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan oversees the RTPC and must reinstate the funding, before someone gets hurt.
Out in force to deliver the message for Timothy Barnes and Conservatives . #westend Ward needs him to represent a balanced and robust view for residents and businesses on Westminster City Council
James campaigned with the CLWCA The Two Cities #TwoCities many times, during local and general elections. His natural ability to engage and connect with volunteers and the public, on doorsteps, is unrivalled. Paired with his vast political experience - I believe that he is the right man for the job.
With 2️⃣0️⃣ days to go until the #WestEnd by-election, the postal votes are beginning to land on doorsteps. There is only one candidate with a proven track record, who lives and works in the ward. If you want a local cllr who fights for you - put a cross next to Timothy Barnes 🗳️
A picture is worth a thousand words. While canvassing, I stumbled upon an emblematic image of the #WestEnd, under Labour. Wards don't run well, when its cllrs place parliamentary ambitions over their residents. On September 19 - vote for cleaner streets with Timothy Barnes 🗳️
A big congratulations to Robert on completing the The Big Half and raising £3k for MCC Foundation, reaffirming his status as fastest The Lord Mayor of Westminster ever. As a fellow runner, I must say that 1h:34min is an excellent finishing time and trumps my PB by 10 minutes.
This morning, the ENT campaign submitted our petition to Keir Starmer at UK Prime Minister on behalf of 200k+ signatories (and 600k children) against The Labour Party's plans to tax school fees. We urge Labour to meet with us to understand the effects this will have. #FindaBetterWay.
Our team was out, in the #WestEnd, canvassing on behalf of Timothy Barnes. We met many disgruntled residents, who feel ignored and let down by the Labour-run #Westminster Council. On September 19th, vote for a candidate who will fight your corner and hold Labour to account! 🗳️
Fantastic turnout in support of my campaign for the #WestEndMatters by-election on 19 September! Thousands of letters on local issues such as #pedicabs #ebikes and #ASB going out to target groups today along with canvassing across the ward! Thanks to our guest Kevin Hollinrake MP
Today I joined Cllr Adam Hug in raising a special flag outside Westminster City Council Hall to mark #999Day. Our blue lights services & NHS workers are out around the clock, saving lives & sometimes risking theirs. This special day allows us to show how much we value them Emergency Services Day - 9 Sept
It was a pleasure to attend another engaging Institute for Government panel discussion, on the implications of the #ProcurementAct 2024. As a small business owner, I was reassured to hear that the act will provide greater opportunities for #SME's to compete for government tenders.
