Update from #MarionIsland: The southern elephant seal breeding season is underway! Males arrive in Aug, followed by females in mid-Sep. Pups are born and weaned within 3-4 weeks, with nearly all marked with flipper tags for research. Best wishes to our biologists on the island!!
