#editorobservation The purpose of submission guidelines is not to annoy authors. At Annals of Tourism Research journals we regularly give authors the opportunity to revise their submission to comply with the guidelines. Often they resubmit another non-compliant version, causing unnecessary delays.

Well, here's a golden opportunity to chat with the "Master of Failure" ..... me! Looking forward to sharing my experiences with rejections & the reasons why I am still hanging on to this emotional rollercoaster called academia rather than finding a comfortable job elsewhere.

Second day at the AIEST conference in Bolzano Last night we rewarded ourselves for all the hard work with a dinner at a restaurant on top of a mountain Mindbogglingly amazing views, spectacular South Tyrolean specialties and delightful company, as always at AIEST 😊

Another AIEST conference day packed with discussions about all the key tourism challenges. The wonderful dinner experience paired with amazing South Tyrolean wines was well deserved, much enjoyed and highly appreciated.
