ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro tells Sara Fischer at #AxiosBFD that the network won't launch its own sportsbook despite past speculation: 'We just don't feel like it's appropriate for us to be creating a book. We're not interested in being a place where people place their bets.'

ESPN's Jimmy Pitaro said when ESPN/Disney's college football deal with SEC kicks in for 2024, it will have 64% of the CFB market.

'Walking away from the Big Ten does not mean long term our college football inventory will diminish,' said Pitaro.
