INBOX: Pinal County says an "independent auditor" will do an "election and cybersecurity technical assessment" of systems used in the primary. The auditor, Pro V&V, is accredited by the U.S. Election Commission. The Secretary of State's Office will have representatives on site.

This comes after Pinal County Supervisor Kevin Cavanaugh raised doubts about the results of his primary for county sheriff. Cavanaugh has since filed to run as a write-in candidate for county recorder. The incumbent, Dana Lewis, was running unopposed. Both are Republicans.
