4th grade Explorers have been conducting their first scientific investigation of the year! We built ramps and measured the distance our ping pong balls rolled.

We did our first choice board of the year! Explorers loved having the choice to pick between different activities during science. This was a great way to end our week and review what we’ve learned so far. 😄

I’m really loving my word wall this year. It’s great looking up and seeing my students’ contributions. ☺️

I told my students they needed to give me 110% energy during our photosynthesis chant and I think they delivered! They really enjoy practicing this one. 🌱

Last week we talked about inherited traits in plants. Our Wells Explorers did a great job drawing the offspring of these parent plants. I have so many artistic students! 🌸🌼

Yesterday, we spent time discussing electrical energy ⚡️Our Explorers did a great job of creating a list of examples of electrical energy in our homes 🏡

Last week we got to play with flashlights as we learned about light energy! 🔦 Explorers had a lot fun with this activity.
