In my NIF ‘William Prichard & Co’ the staff of the pram factory go on an outing to Southend.This picture of my husband’s grandfather & staff was the inspiration.His father started the pram business called Simmons & Co (SOL). Princess Elizabeth used one of theirs for Princess Anne

This was the factory (once owned by my husband’s family) that was the inspiration for my new NIF ‘William Prichard & Co’. I was excited to learn a few years ago that the building was used for the first few series of The Great British Sewing Bee on BBC1.

Watching First Dates on the telly & it’s in Bath. What fun!
