Great thread Steve Magness Points made here a true for injury risk , and IMO professionals seeking to work in elite sport. Get depth and breadth before you specialize!

I’ve long been interested in cognitive biases in medical decision making. They also significantly impact group decision making in medical and performance teams. This is a great summary.

Of the 28 eligible stars (last year All-Star or All-NBA), there is only ONE star player this season who has played in every one of his teams games. Can you guess his name?

Great podcast by my good friend Dr. Carrie Pagliano and Dr Alison Grimaldi where they discuss the link between the pelvic floor and hip. A must listen. open.spotify.com/episode/6sOjKz…

Great summary 📘 Tom Jesson with solid evidence to back this phenomenon up. One I’ve had a hard time getting other clinicians to understand, particularly as this pertains to athletes.

Great article - so applicable to sports medicine in the professional sport setting. Eg. “Agency bias” (desire to keep job or please superiors) & “externality” (motivations of other stakeholders such as front office, coaches & agents) impact decision making & can lead to errors.
