Was planning on a wapping the big jets for something a little more sedate this morning. If the weather had played ball…we’d have been off to Spaceport Cornwall. However, the elements won, so tea at home it is. An important pilot skill is knowing when to go home. #WePilots

The night bit was the coolest. I was struck by the attention to detail and how immersed both astronauts were in making the mission as real as possible in the environment. I would not relish 6-hours in this or other simulated suits. It is physically and mentally demanding. #Space

Not only is shining a laser at an aircraft unlawful, they can and do,find perpetrators and hold them to account. Severe fines and jail time aren’t uncommon. But hey why don’t we all realise that it’s REALLY dangerous and not do it for that reason #WePilots

About a million years ago, as a young Airloadmaster on the C130, I was introduced to to ASRA. The 3 yellow containers, which are linked by a large rescue line are dropped upwind & drift onto the target. It’s not easy to do well. This crew nailed it 🙌🏻💯… #WeCrew #WePilots
