I have now visited each of the five areas nominated to be our next National Park.

I'm so excited for the next steps. A new park will bring huge benefits to its local environment, wildlife, economy and community and will be another step toward a greener future for Scotland. 💚🏞️

Yesterday, I visited the lovely Lochaber area with its wonderful National Park nomination team.

With iconic areas like the Atlantic Rainforest, Ben Nevis, and Glencoe, this region perfectly represents the beauty and diversity of Scotland's landscapes. 🏞️

The corporate capture of Aberdeen's institutions has resulted in a democratic deficit. Places like Torry suffer as a result.

But the folk of Torry are persistent. They are not going to just roll over. They'll keep fighting to protect St Fittick's Park.
