Following a stint at this years' Edinburgh Festival Fringe, US-based jazz band 'The Metro Big Band' very kindly stopped in to HMP Edinburgh to perform for staff and those in our care. A great experience for everyone, thank you!

Animations made by dads currently in HMP Barlinnie and their children,have been screened Edinburgh International Festival.The stories,characters & sound effects were created and recorded within the prison's visit room then brought to life by professional animators. An amazing project for all involved!

Justice Secretary Angela Constance visited Inverness to see the progress of the new Scottish Prison Service HMP Highland. Due for completion in 2026, it will increase custody capacity, improve rehabilitation services and provide significant investment to the local area.
