Check this out! The JWST has captured a direct image of a super-Jupiter exoplanet (Epsilon Indi Ab). This Jupiter-like exoplanet is 3.25x more massive than our own and sits 113 trillion km from Earth. To make the discovery, Webb blocked out starlight with a coronagraph mask.

If the Andromeda galaxy were brighter, it would dominate our night sky. Despite its spectacular presence, its immense distance of 2.5 million light-years makes it faint and hard to see with the naked eye.

ESA's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) mission captured this stunning view of the Moon yesterday as it zoomed past at just 750 kilometers. The spacecraft will fly by to Venus before reaching Jupiter and its icy moons in 2031.

This image cannot be taken again until 2117: the Transit of Venus across the Sun. Captured by astronaut Don Pettit from the ISS, this rare celestial event shows Venus passing directly between the Earth and the Sun, casting a small shadow on the solar disk.
