Meanwhile Scotland's own child abuse inquiry Scottish CA Inquiry, set up nine years ago, has no end date in sight... The sad thing is that all UK could have legislated to make failure to report child abuse a crime (as it is in many countries) 10 years ago.

27 years to disclose abuse. That’s 27 years of suffering to the victim, their community and wider society. When they are finally able to speak and be heard, they may have this archaic and Ill-founded limitation law waved at them. Insult to injury! Needs to change asap

Look beneath the surface. Reframing trauma symptoms as survival modes & regulation challenges. Having a more brainaware perspective helps you understand that something has happened that has influenced their brain. Or what might be going on in their life right now?🧠🌱
