I had to bring up some unfinished business during the Women's Caucus at the 2024 Democratic National Convention — the Equal Rights Amendment. It's met all the requirements under Article V to be the 28th Amendment. Yesterday, I laid out our strategy to finally get it certified and published.

So incredibly sad to hear this today. Bill was a champion for his constituents. We fought side-by-side for years to secure health care for 9/11 survivors and first responders. He never stopped fighting for the people of New Jersey. My heart is with his family and friends today.

.New York State Democratic Party, we've got a lot of work to do! We've got to elect Kamala Harris & Tim Walz. We've got to hold the Senate & flip the seats we need to take back the House. And we have to pass the ERA to our state's constitution. But I know this is the team that can get the job done!

I was so grateful to see the family of Omer Neutra during today's New York Delegation breakfast. In spite of the pain and fear they've endured over the past ten months, they're staying strong for their son. We must keep working to bring Omer and all the hostages back home.
