108 years ago the National Park Service was created to help Americans & visitors from across the world observe the natural beauty & history of our nation. From Yellowstone to Grant-Kohrs Ranch to Glacier to Little Bighorn, MT is lucky to be home to the very best parks in the world!

The Senate Western Caucus is in Boise for a Fire, Food, and Ranching forum. We kicked off the morning with Ag discussions led by Zippy Duvall, Kam Quarles, Gregg Doud, Kim Brackett and Bryan Scofield to learn how DC can help western farmers.

Dozens of members, staff and stakeholders joined us in Boise for the policy forum. Special thanks to Jim Risch for joining members of the Idaho delegation in leading important conversations on preserving the western way of life.

Today’s field tour included an exciting opportunity to see raptors soaring above our heads at the World Center for Birds of Prey.

Staff and stakeholders also heard from Former Secretaries of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne and David Bernhardt about the importance of permitting reform.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Idaho without potatoes! Staff enjoyed touring the Simplot Processing Plant where they saw how French fries are made and even got to sample some of their favorite types!

It was great to have @mikecrapo and @governorlittle join us at Boise State University to share what they’re doing to fight back against the Biden-Harris administration’s outrageous government overreach in Idaho.

Staff and stakeholders toured the National Interagency Fire Center to learn more about how they’re training our future wildland firefighters and to see the amazing technology they’re using to detect fires.
