BAY RESCUE Crews are responding to a report of a Kite Surfer in distress in the Bay in the Area of the Golden Gate Bridge. Initial reports of a white and green Kite in distress.

UPDATE The USCGNorCal USCG Pacific Area affected the rescue of a single kite surfer who will be okay. This incident is now closed.

#yourSFFD and San Bruno Fire are deploying a wildland Strike Team to the Boone Fire in Coalinga. They will be away from San Francisco for 15 days protecting homes and businesses as part of a larger State response. This team is 6 Type 6 engines and 1 Supervisor.
