August 21 is National Senior Citizen Day. Shaker Recreation will host a picnic at The Colonnade (next to Shaker Library) honoring the City’s seniors. In case of rain, the event will move to the STJ Community Building, 3450 Lee Rd. Register by Friday, August 16 by calling 216-491-1360.

Bike Ride with the Mayor: Approximately 60 cycling enthusiasts joined Mayor Weiss on August 13 for an evening ride through #ShakerHeights. Co-sponsored with Heights Bicycle Coalition and County Planning. A special thanks goes out to Shaker Hts Police for traffic assistance.
