GRC Frontal Cortex exceeded all of my expectations and has set the bar incredibly high for the next GRC I attend! I loved learning from and getting to know so many inspiring scientists and left with a list of analyses and experiments to try (and more importantly many new friends!) 🧠

Any DeepSqueak users who have encountered this error and know how to fix it? Trying to get the software up and running on different lab computers and I keep running into this same problem. It pops up whenever I try to load calls.

OK times are wild - officially Dr. Mitchell as of yesterday 🥲 extremely happy + proud, and so grateful + thankful for the mentorship and support from Shansky Lab & all the members of the lab whom I couldn’t have done this without! 🥰

I’m super excited to share some news onhere that I will begin my position as assistant professor Ohio State College of Dentistry next month! My lab will work on postnatal development in the taste system, focusing on maturation of the gustatory cortex. We will try to understand the

P.s.s. In the picture of pure transpecency, I love(d) this project but it also made me cry a lot (as Shansky Lab can attest) - so yes science is fun but it’s also hard and it’s cool to cry sometimes!!! Having a network of people to help you get through it is key! Xoxox!!

Looking for advice for iDisco+ in rodent spinal cord. How are people keeping the cord straight during the final DBE clear? Ours bend into an "S" shape consistently, making later analysis a challenge. Any input or leads, please share!
