Now more than ever, one act of kindness can make a world of difference. San Diego Police Department officers performed a welfare check on a 95-year-old man & found his pantry was running low. So they shopped for groceries & picked up his favorite takeout so he could enjoy a warm meal right away.
When this young man won a contest at his elementary school, he chose being sworn in as a junior deputy as his prize. Cpl. Castillo w/ DuPage County Sheriff's Office in Wheaton, IL, presented him with a badge, certificate and a few other goodies to get him started on his law enforcement career.
Dep./SRO Stroud Pitt County Sheriff's Office, N.C. NC took a break from patrol for a check at a local snow cone establishment. The young entrepreneurs gave him a free snow cone for protecting the community. This time of isolation has been hard on everyone, so we are thankful for this moment to smile!
When Rolla’s community “Shop with a Cop” program was cancelled due to the pandemic, officers with the Rolla Police Dept. came up with an alternative: raise $7500 to buy gifts for 75 children. They doubled it, granting wish list items for 151 local children!
