The new proposals for Beddington Farm Nature Reserve were announced before Xmas until today. A suspiciously short & inconvenient consultation period. Various public feedback has been submitted. It hardly rose above freezing today and I kept on breaking the ice in the pool pond. Lots of visitors drinking and bathing. I just love watching the interactions between the species. Keeping an area free from ice in this cold weather is essential for wildlife. 🥶❄️
