Asked for example of chatGPT helping society. I said it was great at generating effective letters for bureaucrats, which really helped poor people in particular, who usually get ignored because dont use right bureaucratic language. Real impact on immig, housing, educ, etc

I loved the combined INLG 2024 and SIGdial conf in Prague last week! I usually go to INLG, but my first time at SIGDIAL, great to experience it and meet the people. Huge thanks to organisers; a collocated event is of course much more work - but absolutely worth it!
