Happy summer solstice, #Seattle! Those low clouds spoiled my plans for a perfect alignment shot. But it was still pretty when it finally showed up. It was a gorgeous night and a beautiful sunset nevertheless.

My favorite #BlueAngels #SpaceNeedle photos from the past(and a bonus #FatAlbert shot too). I never know what kind of photos to expect on their flyby over the city each year.

Thursday evening’s waxing 19.7% #Crescentmoon setting behind #SpaceNeedle in #Seattle. The sky closer to the horizon was so hazy from the wildfire smoke, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to see the moon at all, but it worked out just fine. PS: As usual, adding for the moon size

Thursday’s Moonset Timelapse… I went to a closer spot first to catch an earlier higher alignment just in case the horizon smoke spoils my large moon plan. The second spot was 12 minutes drive away from the first and the alignment times were 26 minutes apart . I didn’t even have

Happy Monday, everyone! I closed out the weekend with this 46.4% waxing crescent moon setting behind the #SpaceNeedle on Sunday night. The smoke is gone, so moon is back to its normal color, Yay! PS. Space Needle was hidden behind some bushes from this location, that is the

I didn’t get anything spectacular tonight, as I got a bit scared and ran inside with my cameras when it started getting really good . Here are a few that I got from the safety of my bedroom, not the best angle, but posting for posterity . #Seattle #thunderstorm

Spot that Moon! Waxing 3.8% #CrescentMoon behind #SpaceNeedle this evening in #Seattle. It wasn’t naked eye visible, but camera was able to capture the faint light.

Tonight's waxing 14.3% crescent moonset behind #SpaceNeedle in #Seattle from two different spots. First one around 8:07 PM and the second one around 8:35 PM when the moon was much lower. As you can see the wildfire smoke in the horizon made it almost impossible to see as it got
