1H ’24 CDN beef export volumes totaled just over 250,000 tonnes, +4% from 1H ’23 & +11% from the 5yr avg for 1H. 1H export volumes were supported by Q1, which were +9% from Q1 ’23, while Q2 exports were -1%. Learn more at canfax.ca #cattlemarkets #CanfaxMarket

The July 1st Canadian cattle inventory report released by Stats Can shows a 1.4% decline in Canada’s cattle herd. Beef cows ↓2.2%, beef heifers for breeding ↑0.8%, steers over 1 yr ↑0.7%, slaughter heifers ↓1.5%. Learn more:canfax.ca #cattlemarkets #CanfaxMarket
