Third holding call, fourth penalty overall for Alabama's offensive line on 1st down then on the next play another pressure and Milroe's slow to get up after getting hit. Alabama's OL needs to find some answers fast.

Jalen Milroe hit Kobe Prentice for a long pass downfield but offsetting penalties (holding on offense, pass interference on defense) erases the play.

Two nice play calls by Nick Sheridan back to back: Move the pocket, Milroe finds Kobe Prentice for a first down. Next play-- quick screen to Germie Bernard for a nice gain.

Jalen Milroe just making things happen -- looked like a QB draw, USF sent pressure but he slid through traffic and found the end zone for a second time today. Both of #Alabama's TD drives have been at least 10 plays after several of three or less last week. Alabama leads 14-6

Ideal situation for Alabama there -- forced a 3 & out in under a minute and get the ball back with 2:40 to halftime and the two minute warning. Big opportunity to close the half with full momentum.

Alabama's situational defense 📈 - 1-10 on 3rd downs - Limited USF to two red zone field goals - Put out that fire after Kendrick Law's fumble, no points

Literally in the blink of an eye Alabama's got the ball back in favorable field position. Defense forced a 3 & out (1-14 on 3rd downs) and a 28-yard punt return by Jaylen Mbakwe has Alabama at the South Florida 34-yard line.

Kalen DeBoer is at the postgame podium: "In the fourth quarter-- staying away from penalties and turnovers, it's amazing what can happen... This isn't a wake up call or anything like that. We just need to keep raising the standard."

DeBoer said Elijah Pritchett could've started tonight but they were being cautious because he had a minor injury during the week-- said when he did practice it was more at left tackle. Obviously he came in at RT around the 6-minute mark in the 4th quarter. "He was ready to go."

#Alabama DC Kane Wommack starts his presser with recognizing Que Robinson, whose father passed away a few days before the South Florida game. Said he handled it as well as anyone could, the team spent time with his family this week and Robinson played a great game on Saturday.

Wommack as he's recapping the USF game: "Extremely disappointed in the lack of turnovers we were able to create-- they did. We were -3 in turnovers which is absolutely unacceptable by our defense... it has to be something we focus on. It's what we preach, it's who we are."

Wommack on Justin Jefferson's suspension via targeting: "I looked at it from every angle.. I think we just got to tell the young men to keep playing."
