Pleasure to join Mayor of Barnsley as he officially launched the Wates Group charity golf day at Sandhill Golf Club in Little Houghton this morning. Looks like a great day's golfing was had and a fair amount raised for charity too.
On the #Labourdoorstep in Penistone, supporting The Labour Party Mark Slater as he stands in the Penistone Town Council by-election. He has a fantastic record of community and public service, he will make a fine councillor. Took the opportunity to reveal my council haircut too.
Great advice session at Darfield Community Centre this afternoon with pauline markham, engaging with Darfield residents on a major planning application made for housing in our community. We offered direct assistance in making submissions to the consultation.
One of my constituents, Claire Throssell, tragically lost her 12 and 9-year-old after their father set her house on fire. Alex Davies-Jones MP will soon be meeting with Claire and I to discuss how we can protect children from domestic abuse in our criminal justice system.

Dear Stagecoach Yorkshire, this is the daily experience of too many in my community. Since you made 'minor timetable changes' to your services ( just before the new school/college term started) your buses are sailing past Darfield passengers, leaving then stranded. Not a good look.
