Enrique Alvarez and I co-presented our poster on redefining #MS relapses ACTRIMS® forum — when evaluating efficacy of Briumvi using MRI-confirmed relapses, efficacy was 87%! This could evolve how relapsing MS trials are conducted & analyzed.

Paradox: new/enlarging T2 lesions were ⬇️>90% while relapse ⬇️54.2%. #Pseudoexacerbations expected to contribute equally to both arms in trials creating noise in primary outcome. #MRI-supported relapses may provide truer assessment of clinical efficacy. #ACTRIMS2024
