Poster time at #AGU23 ! If my eyes look closed, it's probably because it's Friday and the last conference day and I am flying to India after 5 years day after tomorrow 🫠😴

Look at this ant nest structure! After my walk I looked this up and found out that the Pheidole sykesii species (common in India) builds concentric rings to prevent rain water from entering the core of the nest. I'm amazed! 🐜🌀

Communication with SLIM was successfully established last night, and operations resumed! Science observations were immediately started with the MBC, and we obtained first light for the 10-band observation. This figure shows the “toy poodle” observed in the multi-band observation.

Adding this to my modeling portfolio I guess. Thanks LANL :D Jokes aside, I do really love my job 💙
