This morning 9 of our officers were proud to be presented with a Chief Constable's Team Award. This was for their outstanding work and assistance in the violent disorder that took place during the Villa/Warsaw game at the end of 2023. 71203

Our #ANPRinterceptors were working alongside the #RHRT and saw this BMW M3 Competition amongst the ‘boy racers’ in Birmingham, displaying a plate that didn’t match the vehicle. Checks showed the vehicle to be uninsured, & the driver was also wanted! #VehicleSeized #OffToCustody

The driver of this Audi S3 decided to overtake our Special Sergeant and Inspector at a red light in Stirchley. Turns out that as well as thinking red lights don’t apply to him, having valid insurance doesn’t either. The vehicle was seized and driver reported.
