Significant others and family members pushing disabled people to go past their limits and making them feel awful when they can’t is emotional abuse. You just aren’t ready to hear that yet.

I’m having bad seizures today because of the weather. I had to take some emergency meds, so I’ll probably be taking the day off. Love you, guys ❤️

“I can tell you’re feeling better” Yeah, I’m masking because you all get irritated when I don’t. I still feel like I’m dying. I didn’t just randomly start feeling better.

ARFID is an eating disorder. It's not "picky eating". It's not "bad parenting". It's not a choice. And people with ARFID can't simply "try something different". For folk with ARFID, fed is ALWAYS best, even if society deems that food "unhealthy".

My cognitive score is a 24 when it should be a 29. One point away from a dementia level. I am only twenty-seven years old.

Hannah's (Han 🖤) grandfather was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that spread to his brain. He's had emergency surgery & faces a rough road. Struggling with medical bills, travel, & daily needs. Please give or share to help, thanks! gofund.me/02dad000

Forcing disabled people to “not give up” and push past their limits to be considered worthy is ableist and abusive. Disabilities are disabling. Hope this helps.

“Be grateful that it isn’t worse” Disabled people are allowed to be angry. I don’t have to be thankful for what I was given. I don’t owe you inspiration or a constant uplifting smile on my face.
