New low. Humana is refusing to approve necessary surgery for my patients. Impossible to get through with the denying doctor w long phone waits & no call backs. When I asked for doctor’s medical license number or NPI, they refuse and just give me the name “Dr. Johnson.” Pathetic.

Pt told me he used to get testosterone from a Mens clinic. $3000 annual membership fee and $400/mo for the shots. $35 copay and $20 injections on GoodRx with me for the same service. I’ve reported a few of these to the medical board before who say they’re doing nothing illegal…
