Universal healthcare people. Medicaid expansion. Mental healthcare should be accessible and the reality is that it’s expensive and sparse. There are existing policy solutions.

Extreme punishment for individual actors won’t prevent further harm. Sure, get the parents but let’s get some background checks, red flag laws, safe storage requirements, a bullet tax for mental health services in schools.

And that’s why you need laws. Guns aren’t toys. Your little hobby isn’t worth kids’ lives.
