We’re kicking off with an exciting welcome ceremony to prepare our young people for an enjoyable day ahead! The brilliant 2023 BGT finalist Felix Clements is showcasing the new Olympic Sport of Break Dance & leading everyone through a warm up👏

Our #Active60 Zone was created to explore new ways to stay active beyond conventional sports. Every activity matters, & there are lots of ways to create positive experiences like exciting circus sessions at Leo’s Circus, skipping with DantheSkippingMan®, & speedcage with @brentfordfc🌟

Not only is our #Active60 zone for trying out wonderful & diverse activities, but we’ve also created a place for peace! Sport in Mind are running brilliant workshops promoting mindfulness & showing the positive mental effects of physical activity!

Our event is all about promoting long term healthy habits! Inspiring ALL young people to get their #Active60 in any way they find fun. From traditional sports like cricket, rugby or athletics to trying out new activities like fencing and speedstacking! It’s all about enjoyment

It’s so important we give a voice to the young people attending today! So we’ve got our youth insight section set up featuring a graffiti wall so they can let us know what they enjoy about being active! This helps us to improve & make this event and our impact even better! 🎉

The School Games celebrates all abilities in a no pressure environment! Our newest addition to the games, representing the brand new Olympic sport of break dance, shows young people that physical activity can be done in so many ways, it’s just about finding what suits you😊

All our activities demonstrate the important School Games values! There’s some brilliant lessons embedded in our events that teach some really key life skills.

Affecting wider social outcomes through the school games is so important to us! That’s why we ask schools to encourage those less engaged or perhaps lacking confidence to come along. Everyone is catered for! From inclusive SEN activities to confidence building activities & more

With Wimbledon underway and the The Olympic Games around the corner, events like ours offer a chance to inspire those taking their first steps into activity to give it a go! Everyone of all abilities can be involved in celebrating movement. Take a look at our new wrestling event!

Inclusion is hugely important to us and providing positive experiences to allow every pupil to feel included is vital to us. Not only can it inspire lifelong take up of activity, it allows everyone to discover the joy of movement, just like in our invictus event! #active60

We believe getting active should be accessible to everyone, which is why it’s important we include events that provide pupils, parents & schools with ideas they can take away with them, like wallball! An exciting activity that can be played almost anywhere! Thanks UK Wallball

Often those less confident can miss out on sporting events. We want ALL young to be invited to give it a go, regardless of ability! Whether that be playing, managing, leading or officiating – there’s a valuable role for everyone. Thank you to all our young people giving it a go!

There are loads of important people that make School Games possible, including our brilliant young leaders & volunteers! We’re so grateful to all who are helping us to create an inclusive, positive environment for all young people to create memorable moments 👏🙌

To help shape our events we use the 5 ME in PE principles and assign each event to one of these! Social ME, Physical ME, Thinking ME, Healthy ME & Personal ME. Here’s our Disney themed Change4Life festival hosted by MNR Coaching, aimed at developing physical literacy & movement!
