The NRL has finally stopped listening to the rusted-on fans of the game. Vegas, 6 again, expansion and now a current global artist at the Grand Final, rather than Cold Chisel or Hoodoo Gurus. It’s no wonder why crowds, tv audiences, revenue and memberships are at a record high.

Worth remembering that publicly announced attendances are NOT what RFL base IMG grading on. They take the official safety report actual attendance, which is legally binding…And would be rather different to a couple of the “attendances” I’ve heard at games I’ve been at!
