During STEAM week, Year 2 have built an amazing bug hotel, to make a safe home for all the bugs and the bees in our school grounds. They have included sticks for spiders, rocks for snails, bamboo canes for solitary bees, old wood for beetles and straw for ladybirds #kindness

This week, Year Three learned about what happens to their food once they have eaten it. They mashed bananas, crackers and vinegar into a bag, to represent the stomach, then squeezed this through a pair of tights, to represent the intestines, and this made poo!💩

A great opportunity for young artists (age 4-14) to design stamps honouring those who have helped us during the pandemic. Perhaps we could see some of the ⁦⁦St Matthew's Primary⁩ or ⁦Kickstart⁩ team immortalised on a stamp in the near future stampcompetition.ichild.co.uk
