In the blink of an eye, Mrs Russell @MrsRussellDHT has served our school for a total of 25 years! We will miss her so much but wish her the happiest and healthiest of retirements 🌈 ❤️

I had a great afternoon getting to know this super bunch of Primary 4s! I can’t wait to spend my Thursday afternoons and Fridays with you this year! 🤩

Chest passes, bounce passes and shoulder passes. Nothing was too challenging for these super 4s today! 🤩

All are welcome to join us tomorrow at 10am for our first Mass of the new school year. Sadly this will be our final Mass with Fr Dan before he moves on to his new parish. We are so grateful for all he has done for us over the last two years.

Today we learned about the liturgical colours and tested our understanding by creating a liturgical calendar which we can refer to through the year. As we completed this activity, we chose some of our favourite hymns to listen to 🙏🏻

We just loved our cool down challenge in PE today, The Teletubby challenge! The concentration on those faces (mines included!) as we tried to still our bodies and balance cones on our head! We can’t wait to try again next week!

So proud of the perseverance of primary 4 this afternoon as we tackled a tricky problem solving challenge! We decided to make an organised list as our strategy and it worked a treat! 🌟

P4 were raring to go with clipboards at the ready for our trip to Tesco to answer our big question “Where does our food come from” 🤩

We were so lucky to get an all access pass in Tesco this morning! We saw the store room, the freezers, the delivery bay and the bakery and got the chance to answer all sorts of questions! What a great morning! 🤩

We got to explore the food on the shelves to find out where our food comes from! We found lots of different countries listed on our food! 🤩

Today we learned about how Jesus gave us a new commandment - to love one another. We reflected on how we can love one another just like Jesus loves us #DreamBelieveAchieve

Planning is well underway for our expedition “Where does our food come from?” Primary 4 have some very ambitious ideas to showcase their learning! 🤩
