Street newspapers provide accessible employment for thousands of people around the world. I don’t know many other work opportunities that are flexible enough to meet so many people’s unique needs. UC Police, Berkeley rashly drove into a closed street where community activists, students, and children were gathered to paint a street mural for #PeoplesPark. Officers were responding to a call that APEX security guards were being "surrounded by people." But no one had threathen them.
