Most damaging bit of the Mark Menzies story is the allegation that government whips knew about this for months and chose to do nothing

Menzies lost the whip in Sunak’s chaos factory when the story broke that he used party money to pay his kidnappers, but not three months ago when they found out. Plus, him getting a dog pissed or being caught with a sex worker was all fine apparently.
