Thank you to Andrew from Tap & Brew for generously supporting Swindon Open Studios studios through a donation of beers for the raffle at our launch last Friday.
The committee would also like to thank Ken White for his generous donation of a print for the raffle at our launch on Friday night. Ken will be opening his studio, Venue 21, on 24th & 25th September as part of Swindon Open Studios studios.

Studio Shots & Preparations: In preparation for this year’s Swindon Open Studios studios, Ruth Pike has been making some coloured liquid clay for a workshop she will be running on 24 September at Venue 6. Book a place by contacting her direct. She has also been practicing her photography
Studio Shots& Preparations: Aradhna Rastogi’s paintings are a representation of the natural beauty which surrounds her. She is fascinated by still life and uses acrylics and oils to create depth of colour in her work. Visit Aradhna at Venue 34 for Swindon Open Studios studios.
Studio Shots & Preparations: it has been a busy time for Mary Thorne adding handles to jugs & painting local landmarks on plates before glazing & firing. Mary is exhibiting with watercolour artist Kate Wade this coming weekend at Venue 31 for Swindon Open Studios studios.
Studio Shots & Preparations: in the lead up to this year’s Swindon Open Studios studio’s Niranjana Girish is working on a new painting and getting prints ready. Niranjana will be exhibiting at Venue 10, the barn, Stanton Park.
On foot in Swindon town centre this weekend we have venues in easy walking distance. Venue 16 - Swindon Hub, The Parade, Venue 17 - Artsite, Theatre Sqr, Venue 18 - Central Library at Regent Circus and Venue 19 - Eastcott Studios on Eastcott Hill. See swindonopenstudios.org
