llama.cpp is a #C++ project used to perform inference with a range of models including Meta's LLaMa. With SYCLomatic and our plugin for NVIDIA GPUs, it has been possible to convert the llama.cpp CUDA backend to #SYCL and #oneAPI Read the first blog here! codeplay.com/portal/blogs/2…

We now have SYCL upstream in PyTorch open source! So now you don't need CUDA and can use industry standards instead. Plenty more work to do before this is complete, but this is a huge step forwards for SYCLstd & UXLfoundation in unlocking high perf software to new accelerators
