I'm in Oxford today with Louise Lyons recording video conversations at the #OxBFRBconf meeting. It's the start of something amazing, which will help people affected by Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours, and raise awareness of BFRBs, which are largely ignored & stigmatised
Great moment for our community! First Oxford BFRB conference is today! So many amazing people, experiences and knowledge coming together to talk all things body-focused repetitive behaviours! BFRB UK & Ireland π #OxBFRBConf #BFRBs #trichotillomania #dermatillomania #skinpicking

On Day 2 we staged a take-over of the Department of Psychiatry for our community event. The pace was gentler, and Dr Bridget Bradley and the team did a truly incredible job of designing and leading a day which informed, empowered, connected, supported and inspired our community.
BFRB UK & Ireland, thank you so much for warmly welcoming me into your family this weekend. I am still processing all of the amazing moments and connections. You undoubtedly changed lives and the ripples of that will go on and on. #LivedExperienceLeadership at it's very finest π
